Provide, counseling to an ethnically and culturally diverse population of children, adolescents, and
young adults, and employees in the workforce. Assess and evaluate individuals' problems through the use of case
history, interview, and observation and provide individual or group counseling services to assist individuals in
achieving more effective personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment.

• Extensive skill, knowledge, and experience are needed for these occupations.
• To help them understand problems, deal with crisis situations, define goals, and develop realistic
action plans.
• Select, administer, and interpret psychological tests to assess intelligence, aptitudes, abilities, or
interests.

Qualifications:
• Licensed and, must earn a master's degree in a mental health-related field of study, such as clinical
mental health counseling, psychology, or social work from an accredited school.
• Conduct research to develop or improve diagnostic or therapeutic counseling techniques.
• Bilingual is a plus
